Youth Co-op Charter School

Youth Co-Op Charter School in Hialeah Gardens is a unique school. This public, coed school offers instruction in the arts and academics following innovative teaching techniques and the guidelines of the Florida Statewide curricuulum. It serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade and is run by EESAC Education Excellence School Advisory Council that includes councilmembers for the City of Hialeah Gardens. This school has annual events that integrate the community and display students talents throughout Miami-Dadde such as "Design Day" where all 525 student from Youth Co-Op Charter School in Hialeah, sketched their dream playground with colorful drawings, which would later be used in the actual deisgn and construction of the brand new playground. The playground that was "designed" by students, was donated by several community businesses, including Home Depot, and includes a new swing set, super dome, rock climbing wall, and three slides. Youth Co-Op Charter School in Hialeah Gardens is close to homes in Ponderosa and Biltmore Estates.
