There are many points of interest in and around Hialeah. One of the most famous attractions in Hialeah is the Hialeah Park Racetrack, the oldest and widest turf hoseracing track in continuous operation in the United States. Amelia Earhart Park, named for the famed aviatrix who disappeared in 1937, is located in Hialeah. The park offers a junior sailing program, picnic shelters, and the Bill Graham Farm Village, a re-creation of the farmhouses and country stores which are a part of Miami's pioneer days.
